Application:
Apply twice per week to cleansed face, and allow 10 –15 minutes for it to become absorbed. Take off with a moist cotton pad and tone up with Hydrasilk Gel Tonic.
Active Ingredients:
Hydroviton. Liquid moisturizing factor, consisting of a mixture of amino acids urea, sodium lactate, sorbitol and allantoin. Hydroviton has a regulating effect on the water content of the intercellular matrix.
Defensil. This herbal active ingredient cocktail of Cardiospermum Halicacabum, Echium Plantagineum and sunflower oil harmonizes and stabilizes the natural skin functions, strengthens the stem cells and reduces irritation and redness.
Allantoin. Allantoin is a urea derivative and is obtained from the juice of the beetroot, such as black and comfrey roots, horse chestnut bark, maple, wheat germ and rice.
Seidenproteine. Silk is a valuable raw material, the production of which is very complex. The basis is provided by the larva of the mulberry moth – the silkworm. Silk contains silk fibroins, proteins that are similar to the structure of human skin. This makes them extremely kind to the skin. Silk molecules act like small sponges. They can store up to 300 times their moisture in moisture and are therefore the ideal thirst quencher for dry, sensitive skin.
Palm oil (Elaeis guineensisi). Is obtained from the palm fruits and results in a significant reduction in the depth of wrinkles. Supports the mitotic activity of the epidermis.
Huille de Baobab Adansonia Digitata Seed Oil (Baum des Lebens). The tree of life grows in Africa in the nature reserves of Kenya and Zimbabwe. This tree is between 300 and 400 years old and can store water for 9 months in the dry season. The oils of the fruits are rich in essential fatty acids. It is used in the cosmetics sector because of its excellent skin tolerance and skin-smoothing properties. The extracts from the leaves of the tree have immune-boosting and antibacterial effects. This is why the extract is particularly useful for sensitive, irritated and allergic skin.
Tocopherol (Vitamin E). Is a fat-soluble vitamin which is found in all vegetable oils and fats and has very good caring properties. The results of various studies with skin care products containing vitamin E indicate a positive effect on fine wrinkles and facial lines as well as on the skin surface structure in the event of weathering and subsequent repeated UV radiation.
Ceramide. Lipid plates, which act as a moisture barrier in the horny layer of the skin, are the ceramides. They consist of eight to fifteen layers of flattened, dead horny cells that are firmly attached to one another. Shortly before keratinization, the living cells produce various lipids, which are also called barrier lipids. They are compressed to form the plates, which then enclose the cells in the horny layer. Like the mortar used to build a wall. They hold and protect the horny cells. The components of the plates are exceptionally large and act as bridges between adjoining lipid layers. The barrier-forming lipid layers can be impaired in their functionality by many influences. The consequences are increased skin aging, wrinkles, a dull skin tone and loss of elasticity of the tissue.
